He named some church members in the complaint as suspects all proven to not have a role in the letter. The problem is when he went to the police he gave a false statement to police a slanderous statement to the police which is listed in the police report. Can I sue him for slander.

When I cam back from my last trip and was on my home time, the police showed up at my door to ask questions about the discrepency of fuel. I was caught offguard about all of this as I maintain my innocence and have done nothing wrong to warrant these accusations. The company is also telling me that my wages will not be paid to me until the investigation is done. They have told me I have been stealing and that it is on video which is utterly impossible since I never did this. Do I have a case against them?
